The Nor Class Orbital Space Stations are a type of space station used by the Cardassian Empire. The most well known example is Terok Nor, built in orbit of Bajor to coordinate the Cardassian presence Bajor as well as a place for resources taken from the planet to be transported to before being taken back to the Cardassian homeworld. After the Occupation of Bajor ended in 2366 the Federation established a presence on the station and renamed it Deep Space 9. Another known Nor Class Station was Empok Nor, located in the Trivas system and later abandoned by the Cardassian Empire during the Dominion War.
